WORCESTER – Yesterday, a Worcester County Superior Court jury found 34-year-old Christopher Fuller, of Worcester, guilty of first-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old Ernest Appiah, of Worcester, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.

On March 5, 2022, Paxton Police Department found Mr. Appiah’s body in the woods near Asnebumskit Road in Paxton following a report from a passerby. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.

The investigation determined that on February 28, 2022, Mr. Fuller shot Mr. Appiah after the two left Centerfolds, an adult entertainment establishment in Worcester, together.

Mr. Fuller was initially charged and arraigned in East Brookfield District Court on July 12, 2022. He was indicted by a Worcester County Grand Jury on December 21, 2022, and has been in custody since his arraignment in District Court.

“Assistant District Attorneys Timothy Westerman and Shayna Woodard, and Victim Witness Advocate Maria Deyette did an outstanding job on this case,” said District Attorney Early. “I also want to thank the Paxton Police Department, the Mass. State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, and the jury for their work and careful consideration of the evidence.”

The first-degree murder conviction carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole. Mr. Fuller will be sentenced in Worcester Superior Court on October 27, 2026.
