WORCESTER — Murder indictments were handed up Thursday by a Worcester County Grand Jury in the killing of a Boston man, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Jacob Grice, 35, of 91 Endicott St., Apt. 1, was indicted for murder, trafficking in cocaine (18-36 grams) and possession of ammunition without an FID card. Amber L. Gravel, 27, of Rice Lane, was indicted for murder.

The defendants are accused in the shooting death of Darren Dyette, 31, of Boston on Aug. 3 on King Street.

Mr. Grice had previously been arraigned on charges related to the killing in Worcester Central District Court. With his indictment the case moves to Worcester Superior Court. A date for his arraignment in Superior Court has not yet been scheduled. He had been found dangerous at a hearing in district court and remains in custody without an opportunity for bail.

Ms. Gravel was arraigned Friday on the murder charge in Worcester Superior Court. She pleaded not guilty and Judge David Ricciardone ordered her held without bail. The case was continued to Dec. 15.

Ms. Gravel had been charged in district court with being an accessory after the fact of murder. She had pleaded not guilty and was released on $1,000 bail. After her indictment Thursday, she was arrested by Worcester Police and held for her superior court arraignment.
