WORCESTER – A Worcester County Grand Jury indicted two men on Friday in the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Park Avenue in November, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Messiah Amankwa, 18, of 7A Gibbs St., was indicted for murder and possession of a firearm not at home or work. Diomar Lopez Carrasco 23, of 36 Cherry St., Apt. 1E, Spencer, was indicted as an accessory after the fact of murder. They were arrested in November and were facing charges in Worcester District Court. With the indictments their cases will move to Worcester Superior Court.
Their arraignments have not yet been scheduled.
On Oct. 24, Worcester Police were called to the Wendy’s parking lot at 500 Park Ave. where the juvenile victim was found dead.
