WORCESTER – A Worcester man was arrested Sunday in connection with the death of a man found on Saturday in Hubbardston, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Ryan Wilcox, 32, has been charged with armed assault with intent to kill, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
On Saturday, Jan. 4, just before 10 a.m., Hubbardston Police responded to the report of a body discovered in the woods off of Brigham Street. Hubbardston Police and the Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office began investigating.
The deceased was identified as Mitchell Burke, 32, of Worcester.
Wilcox is expected to be arraigned in Worcester Central District Court on Monday.
