WORCESTER – A Worcester man was sentenced to 3-1/2 to 5 years in prison today after a Superior Court jury found him guilty of trafficking cocaine and heroin, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Pedro Vasquez, 30, was arrested on Dec. 10, 2010 after members of the Worcester Police Gang Unit stopped his 2002 Mercedes on Pemberton Street and found cocaine and heroin in his vehicle.
Judge David Ricciardone imposed the sentence recommended by Assistant District Attorney David P. Feraco. Mr. Vasquez’s attorneys asked for a sentence of 3-1/2 years to 3-1/2 years and a day.
