WORCESTER – A man indicted yesterday in the murder of Cherise Hill will be arraigned tomorrow in Worcester Superior Court, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Kevin Miranda, 18, whose latest address is the Worcester County House of Correction, is charged with murder in the stabbing death of Ms. Hill, 31, who was found in the street near 20 Murray Ave. on Dec. 2. Miranda had been arrested and charged in Central District Court.
Pedro Solis, 26, of 45 Grand St., apt. 107, also was indicted for murder by the Worcester County Grand Jury. He is not in custody and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Before his indictment he was the subject of a default warrant in Central District Court on an unrelated drug case.
Another man, Luis Melendez-Rivas, had been arrested in the murder, but the charge against him was dropped today in Central District Court. Melendez-Rivas was misidentified at the time of his arrest.
