Two Charged with Sexually Abusing Girls

WORCESTER — Two Worcester men, charged with sexually abusing two 17-year-old girls, were arraigned today in Worcester District Court, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Genaro Cabeza, 43, of 20 Sylvan St., Apt. 2, is charged with rape, sexual conduct for a fee with a child under 18, and providing alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years old. Judge David B. Locke ordered him held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Sept. 18.

Richard Saya, 39, of 203 Belmont St., Apt. 1, is charged with trafficking a person for sexual servitude, sexual conduct for a fee with a child under 18, and providing alcoholic beverages to persons under 21 years old. He was held on $50,000 bail and the case was continued to Oct. 12. If he posts bail, he was ordered to remain under house arrest with a GPS monitor and to stay away and have no contact with the alleged victims.

The warrants for the defendants were obtained by the State Police High Risk Victim Unit following an investigation that started in June. Mr. Saya was arrested last night by Worcester Police after a traffic stop. Mr. Cabeza was arrested today by State Police.
