WORCESTER – A Worcester County Grand Jury handed up indictments today against two people in an October 29, 2016 crash that killed a Spencer woman, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Andrew Ledoux, 21, of 77 Fourth St., Worcester, was indicted for motor vehicle homicide, three counts of operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury and operating to endanger. Mr. Ledoux was the driver in the crash that occurred during the early morning hours on Saturday, Oct. 29 on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westborough. As a result of the crash, 26-year-old Ashley Sheehan was killed.
Gina Correiri, 20, of 28 Bridle Path, Shrewsbury, was also indicted on a manslaughter charge. Ms. Correiri allegedly pulled on the steering wheel of the SUV causing it to leave the road and crash into a rock ledge off the side of the highway.
Three other passengers in the SUV were also injured in the crash.
Mr. Ledoux and Ms. Correiri will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on a later date.
