WORCESTER – Two people were arrested after State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office found more than 200 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, two AR-15 rifles and psilocybin mushrooms in a Worcester apartment, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
State Police and Worcester Police detectives searched the apartment of Milano Andre-Fields, 28, of 1223 West Boylston St., Second Floor, Worcester, on Tuesday morning after an investigation.
Detectives found more than 200 grams of a crystal-like substances believed the be crystal methamphetamine. They also located numerous strips of Suboxone and an amount of what appeared to be psilocybin mushrooms.
Also located inside the apartment were two AR-15-style rifles, a .380 semiautomatic handgun with the serial number defaced and two large-capacity magazines for the rifles. The two rifles were previously reported stolen out of Spencer and Bellingham, WA.
Troopers arrested Andre-Fields in a parking lot near his home with approximately $1,308 in cash and two mobile phones, one of which had the number investigators called to arrange the controlled-buys of cocaine. Police also seized approximately $1,800 in cash from inside the apartment, along with packaging materials and multiple digital scales.
Mindy Doherty, 34, of the same address, was also arrested as she exited the apartment.
The two were transported to Worcester Police Headquarters and are expected to be arraigned tomorrow in Worcester District Court.
