SOUTHBRIDGE — Police are investigating the suspicious death of a 59-year-old Southbridge man, who was found dead in his home Saturday night, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Southbridge Police discovered the body of Joseph A. Stanick shortly after 8 p.m. after responding to a single-family home at 43 Columbus Ave. for a well-being check.
Investigators do not believe the death is a random act, according to Mr. Early.
The death is being investigated by the State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office and Southbridge Police.
No other information is being released at this time.
