WORCESTER – Last week, a Worcester County Grand Jury handed up a manslaughter indictment against 33-year-old Christopher Lacour, of Northbridge, for the fatal shooting death of his brother, 36-year-old Jonathan Lacour, of Northbridge, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
On May 21, 2025, Northbridge Police responded to Legion Way and located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The defendant was originally charged and arraigned in Uxbridge District Court in May 2025 on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and manslaughter.
The indictment moves the case to Worcester Superior Court, where Mr. Lacour is expected to be arraigned on October 21, 2025.
