WORCESTER — A jury found a Worcester man guilty of murder in the August 2020 killing of 31-year-old Darren Dyette on King Street, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Jacob Grice, 39, was found guilty of first-degree murder by a Worcester Superior Court jury after a 10-day trial. The first-degree murder conviction carries a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole. Sentencing is scheduled for March 12, 2025.
The jury also convicted Grice of possession of ammunition without an FID card.
One other person has also been charged in the killing. Amber L. Gravel, 31, was arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on the charge of murder and held without bail in November 2020. She is scheduled to next appear in court on March 6, 2025.
