GARDNER — A Gardner man, wanted for murder, turned himself into authorities and was arraigned today in Gardner District Court, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Francis Arbolay, 21, of 138 Pine St. was charged with murder and assault to maim in a double stabbing last week outside 244 Waterford St. He was ordered held without bail by Judge Arthur Haley and his case was continued to Feb. 23.
Christopher Starkweather, also known as C.J. Anderson, 23, of 150 Old Westminster Road, Hubbardston died from stab wounds. A second man, Jacob Vaillancourt also was stabbed and was treated and released from UMass Medical Center.
State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and the Gardner Police investigating.
