NORTHBRIDGE – A Northbridge resident is facing an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charge in connection with a fatal shooting on Wednesday in Northbridge, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Christopher Lacour, age 33, was arraigned in Uxbridge District Court this morning. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The judge set bail at $10,000 cash. The defendant’s next court date is June 23, 2025, for a pretrial conference.
Northbridge Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office continue to actively investigate this incident. The investigation is ongoing and relatively new. The Office of the Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and an autopsy is pending. No further information will be released at this time.
