WEBSTER — The body of a 77-year-old homeless man was found Wednesday in the woods behind 56 Worcester Road, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
A resident called Webster Police last week to report that he had not seen Donald R. Sylvia, who was well known in town, in several days.
Webster Police, with the assistance of an Auburn Police K-9, located Mr. Sylvia’s body on Wednesday afternoon about 100 feet from the parking lot at 56 Worcester Road.
No foul play is suspected, according to Mr. Early. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
The death remains under investigation by Webster Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney’s Office.
