WEBSTER — A 61-year-old woman was killed Sunday when an SUV collided with the motorcycle she was a passenger on, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Patricia Riendeau of 33 Lake Shore Drive, Holland, was brought to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester where she was pronounced dead. Her husband, Robert Riendeau, 57, who was operating the 1992 Harley Davidson HLX 120 motorcycle, suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries. He was also taken to UMass Memorial.
The crash occurred about 1:53 p.m. near 106 Douglas Road (Route 16).
Donald Ryan, 72, of 676 Summer St., East Bridgewater, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox when the motorcycle ahead of him began to slow down and the vehicles collided.
He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester where he was admitted for observation.
No charges have been filed, and the crash remains under investigation by Webster Police, the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council and the District Attorney’s Office, according to Mr. Early.
