DA Participates in Bolton Opioid Abuse Panel

BOLTON – Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. participated in a heroin and opioid education forum at the Sawyer School on Sept. 23.

The event, organized by Bolton Police Chief Vincent Alfano and Pat Bensettler of the Bolton Human Services and Safety Committee, attracted 65 concerned citizens.

The district attorney shared the stage with panelists Richard Ellbeg of Nashoba Valley Hospital, Luisa Fundora of BSAS, Heidi DiRoberto of Spectrum Health and Susan Avallone of the A.E.D. Foundation.

The panel provided information on opioid addiction and treatment resources to community members here in Bolton looking for answers.
