WORCESTER – The Office of Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. will continue a partnership with the Insurance Fraud Bureau this year to work to eliminate insurance fraud, an effort that helps reduce automobile insurance premiums for all drivers.

Mr. Early’s office has prosecuted more than 100 such fraud cases since 2007. The IFB has assisted by providing an annual grant to help fund the investigation and prosecution of these cases. Representatives of the IFB presented Mr. Early with a check today for the program to continue in 2017.

IFB investigators, local police, District Attorneys and insurance company investigators work together to detect, investigate, prosecute and prevent automobile insurance fraud.
