On Feb. 21, 1973, the body of a 19-year-old male was found by a man who was operating a snowmobile on his pond when he discovered the human remains. The body was located on the edge of Raymond Street and about three-quarters of a mile from the intersection of Kelton Street in Gardner. Mark Twohey’s death was ruled a homicide.
