On July 17, 1979, 38-year-old Leona Blair was found deceased in her vehicle which was parked on West Street in Leominster close to the intersection of Blossom Street. Blair was seen alive at the Singapore Restaurant in Fitchburg several days prior. Blair’s death was ruled a homicide.
