Suspects Held in Bank Robberies

WORCESTER – Two men charged in connection with recent bank robberies were ordered held on bail today in Central District Court, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Danielle Beauchene, 38, of 23 Newbury St., Apt. 2 ,was charged with two counts of armed robbery while masked. Judge Patricia T. Poehler ordered him held on $100,000 bail. The charges stem from a robbery on Tuesday at Commerce Bank, 11 Park Ave. and second holdup on Thursday at Peoples United Bank, 4 Mower St.

Joseph Stoliker, 49, of 111 Country Club Blvd., Apt. 802, was charged with one count of armed robbery while masked (joint venture). Judge David P. Despotoulos set bail at $25,000 bail. Stoliker’s arraignment was conducted by video conference from his room at University of Massachusetts-Memorial Hospital. He was hospitalized for a problem with his foot. Stoliker is charged for his involvement in the bank robbery on Mower Street.

Both defendants will return to court on Nov. 20 for a pre-trial conference.
