WORCESTER – A 21-year-old Gardner man has been indicted for murder in last month’s stabbing death Francis Arbolay, 21, of 138 Pine St.on Waterford Street in Gardner, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.
Francis Arbolay of 198 Pine St. is also charged armed assault with intent to murder, aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and assault with a dangerous weapon in the slaying of Christopher Starkweather, also known as T.J. Anderson, 23, of 150 Old Westminster Road, Hubbardston.
Mr. Starkweather was found dead shortly after midnight on Jan. 20 in front of 244 Waterford St. after Gardner Police responded to a 911 call.
Mr. Arbolay, who was arrested on Jan. 27, will be arraigned on March 2 in Worcester Superior Court. He is being held without bail.
