WORCESTER – Joseph Kenadek was indicted today by a Worcester County Grand Jury for 2nd degree murder in the death of his girlfriend in Webster last April, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.

Brenda L. Hatheway, 43, of 8 Harris St., Apt. 2R, in Webster was found unresponsive in the street near her home on the morning of April 30. She died a short time later  at Hubbard Regional Hospital.

Kenadek, 52, of the same address, initially had been charged with aggravated assault and battery and domestic assault and battery in Dudley District Court. The investigation showed that Mr. Kenadek and Ms. Hatheway were involved in a loud argument that spilled over to a porch and eventually to the street.
