Dangerous Batch of Heroin Hits Fitchburg

FITCHBURG – Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr. and Police Chief Ernest F. Martineau are warning the public of a dangerous batch of heroin that is being used this weekend in the city.
Fitchburg Police reported two deadly heroin overdoses yesterday and six overdoses today in one eight-hour span. None of today’s overdoses has turned deadly.
People who are addicted to heroin and their families and friends should be aware that heroin on the streets of Fitchburg this weekend could cause an overdose or death.
